Pet Rescue of Maryland has recently rescued several medical needs animals. These are animals that were suffering a great deal of pain and would have died without medical intervention. As a donation based rescue, we are only able to help animals like Anja, Belle and Caroline with help from giving and caring people like you. As an all-volunteer rescue, we have very little overhead and you can be assured that your donation will go directly to help the animals in our care.

HOW DO I MEET YOUR ANIMALS?
We show dogs on Saturdays at the Timonium Petco from 2:30-5. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please send an e-mail to info@petrescueofmd.org with the dog's name in the subject. We will ask the foster to please bring the dog. Sometimes, a foster is unable to attend the event, so please check the animal's web page on Saturday morning to see if he/she will be there.

You can see some of our cats in the cages at the Timonium Petco during Petco's normal business hours. If you see a cat you would like to adopt, you can complete an application and leave it in the completed applications box at Petco. After our adoption coordinator reviews your application, we will make arrangements for you to come back to Petco when one of our volunteers is there so you can interact with the cat.

Our Mission
Pet Rescue of Maryland is a non-profit animal rescue dedicated to saving the lives of dogs, cats, kittens and puppies. We are staffed only by volunteers and rely on the kindness of our community to financially support our efforts. We do not have a central shelter. All of our animals are fostered in our homes as if they were our pets. This allows us to assess each animal and help find the home that best fits with their needs. We treat each animal as if they are part of our family until they become part of yours.
